After years of working in the business world and doing odd jobs on the side, I am taking a chance and living my dream.  I have always worked in the wood industry and spent years designing furniture and running a wood production plant and then changed to selling lumber.  Although I found this enjoyable my real passion is doing the work myself, so I left the corporate world to begin my own business, Modock Millworks.  I enjoy using my knowledge, experience and craftsmanship to create custom pieces.   They are one of kind and made in my shop, on Modock Hill, to fit my customers needs. 

I have created entire kitchens, built-in cabinets, kitchen updates, library shelving, screened doors and more for many satisfied customers.  I work in many different types of woods and each one has it's own unique character.  I can't pick a favorite and love the challenge each one presents.

I enjoy getting to know my customers and designing to fit their needs and style.  From Shaker to sleek modern and everything in between.  I'd be happy to discuss your vision and help you create the piece that fits your lifestyle. 

I also have a large customer clientele of small production runs from sofa legs,  light fixtures, stair treads, display racks and more.  I am happy to take on production pieces that the large companies turn away because of low quantities.  I take great pride in producing quality items and work hard to keep my prices fair.
